It’s the third consecutive victory for Monza!
The Lotto team solidified themselves with a clear 2-0 win at home over Spezia. Their next match is on Saturday, October 15th in Empoli—another fundamental match for battling in the standings!
Can Cheddira Be Stopped?!
He’s done it again!
Walid Cheddira of Solista 100 Gravity solidifies himself as the top scorer in Serie B. The Lotto striker coldly scored the decisive penalty kick for his team's victory, climbing to 8 goals in 8 league games (13 goals this season in total).
Pietro Ceccaroni of Solista 200, and captain of Venezia FC, also scored his first goal of the season.
Tennis
Elise Mertens Dominates the Final of the WTA Monastir 2022
Lotto star Elise Mertens, together with her partner Alizé Cornet, won the WTA Monastir 2022—and in the process, they climbed six positions to number 36 in the world ranking!
The Lotto athlete now reaches the seventh position on the major circuit out of 11 played finals. [Shop their look!]
Doubles Victory for Siniakova and Mladenovic
Katerina Siniakova and Kristina Mladenovic took home the gold at the 250 WTA Jasmin Open Monastir! They bested Miyu Kato and Angela Kulikov in the final with sets of 6-2 and 6-0.
Great Showing For Gille and Vilegen
Sander Gille and Joran Vilegen of Belgium reached the semi-finals of the 500 ATP in Tokyo. Their run ended at the hands of Rafael Matos and David Vega Hernandez with sets of 7-5 and 6-4.
Lucas Klein Takes Home the Gold
What a fantastic result for Lucas Klein!
The Slovakian star won the Alcante Challenger in Spain, defeating Nick Hardt in the finals with sets of 6-3 and 6-4.
Lotto Matchup at the Challenger in Campinas
Lotto athletes Juan Pablo Varilla and Luciano Darderi faced each other in the Challenger in Campinas, where Juan Pablo Varillas came out as the winner with sets of 6-3 and 6-4. He then faced Jan Choinski in the final but came up short.
Congratulations to both of these phenomenal athletes!

Gonzalez and Ortega With Another Great Showing
At the Open Tournament in Santander, Beatriz Gonzalez and her partner Marta Ortega surrendered to the eventual tournament winners in the semifinals: Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay. The sets were 4-6, 7-6, and 6-1.
